Acute Pain Rotation

The Acute Pain rotation was developed to give patients better care in management of their perioperative pain. This rotation is a two week rotation. The resident will be paired one-on-one with an attending experienced in pain managment. Residents will place peripheral nerve blocks and neuraxial blocks, some single-shot and others with catheters. Resident will also round on their patients and care for their pain needs during the acute pain phase while the patients are in the hospital.

This rotation is directed by Mohamed Nour, MD
